MBA Executive Updates

Admission to the MBA Executive requires a minimum of 16 years of HEC approved education plus 3 years of job experience. Participants then take 72 credit hours of rigorous coursework over a minimum of 2.5 years of weekend attendance. We feel that this entitles the program to be considered as equivalent to 18 years qualification. However, the HEC considers all MBA Executive/ EMBA degrees as being equivalent to a 16 years qualification, irrespective of their specific admission requirements. Since 2015, we have been asking the HEC to address this anomaly, at least in the case of the MBA Executive Program run by the IBA. As a result, HEC has agreed to submit our case to the National Curriculum Review Commission. We will keep you apprised of further developments in this regard.
