Having worked for Philip Morris
International (PMI) as brand manager for
Marlboro and Morven Gold for a few
years, Mutahir decided to pursue his
passion full time. While working for PMI,
he used to cover events after office
hours, and that left him very little
time to give to his startup. A couple of
years back, he Astalavista'd the
corporate world and took up his passion
full time. Already having qualifications
from world renowned universities, he
felt the need to study photography at
Indus Valley School of Art and
Architecture to better build his dream.
Some of Mutahir's achievements as an
entrepreneur are;
- CokeStudio Sound of the Nation Coffee
Table Book
- KE Pride of Performance
- Showcased new body of work at the
PGD'13 Photography Exhibition
- Student Photography Workshops // L'ecole // Batch 1
- Shot Fashion Pakistan Week Fall 2012
// One of the exclusive backstage

During guest speaker session with
MBA Executive participants, he shared
his journey from PMI to O'Shoot,
inspiring the audience to ignite their
entrepreneurial flair and tackling the
ups and downs that come along the way.
Further, in spirit of the Consumer
Behavior class by Mr. Samir Aamir, he
interacted with the participants to
develop a framework for a photography
startup such as O'Shoot, to better
understand and analyze the consumer
behavior patterns in prospective
clients. The session was highly
interactive, informative and aspiring
for young entrepreneurs and marketing
professionals.
We wish Mr. Mutahir Mehmood and O'Shoot
all the best for future endeavors and
thank Mr. Anwer Bakht for inviting him
on our behalf and making this Saturday a
learning experience for all.
