On November 13, 2022 for the MBA executive Corporate Strategy class taught by Dr Mahnaz Fatima, a presentation was arranged on lessons on strategy highlighted in the letter to Malik Ashtar by Imam Ali (A.S.). The presenter, an IBA Alumnus, Syed Irtiza Haider Bukhari shed light on how this letter entailed modern management principles and the learnings could be applied to corporate, political and many other contexts. The letter to Malik Ashtar had been a part of syllabus at the Civil Services academy and has a lot of value for the students of strategy, administration, policy and other sister subjects. The session was followed by questions raised by students. All in all, the students expressed great satisfaction in being part of this lecture series and found it to be of great value.
